The beginning was just like everyone else's. In 1998 we decided to buy a boxer and we got Xena. Until the middle of 2001 nothing changed. Only when Xena went into her third heat season everything changed.

Xena's season was to come again soon and the following question comes up: “where are we taking Xena to?” We decided to make some research on the internet and make a few phone calls. Surprisingly for us some, some names in Xena's pedigree are quite famous ( XHANTOS VOM BERELER RIES , WANYA V REISCHERSBERG and OUZOUD DE LA VALLE D´OULJA ).

After some contacts we decided to mate Xena to MANITU ( IGINO DEI DA POLENTA x ANNETT D´ALMUROL ) ...thank you Helder Simão for your help...and we thought of buying "someone else" to join Xena.

We took a look at a list of breeders a kennel stands out for the short distance and quality of their boxers in the past decades… Chipema… After we got into contact with D. Margarida Correia, whom we thank for her help, we got to know she had dogs for sale and we decided to go to Ilhavo. There we instantly fall in love with a brindled little dog wich became our second “girl”, Paola. Our friendship with D. Margarida Correia results in the acquisition of a third dog … Peppa… (Paola's sister).

A few more days went by and a new surprise came up. After visiting several others breeders we got another brindle puppy called Apollo . Tiago thank you for the fantastic puppy you've bred.

We would also like to thank someone who has been irreplaceable in this process … I'm obviously talking about you , Maria Paula…the best vet that ever lived.
